## 1. Introduction

Meet Burn is a meeting cost calculator and meeting timer app. This policy describes what information the App collects, stores, and uses, and how third-party services handle data.

## 2. Where Data Is Stored

### 2.1 Data Stored Only on Your Device

The following data is **stored only on your device** and is **not sent to the cloud**.

- **Meeting data**  
  Meeting title, start time, duration, participant count, hourly rate, total cost, participant details, session data, notes, and related fields
- **Presets**  
  Saved meeting configurations (name, participant count, hourly rate, etc.)
- **App settings**  
  Currency symbol, decimal places, time/cost notification settings, display language
- **Onboarding completion flag**  
  Whether the first-time guide has been completed

No account or cloud sync is required for this data. You can delete it by removing it within the App or by clearing the App’s data on your device.

## 3. Information We Collect or Send

### 3.1 Usage Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

The App uses **Firebase Analytics** (Google) to send **anonymous usage data**, which may include:

- App opens
- Screen views (screen names only; no meeting content or personally identifiable information)
- Events such as onboarding shown, completed, or skipped (e.g., source, page count—aggregate values only)

### 3.2 Firebase Remote Config

The App uses **Firebase Remote Config** to fetch **app configuration** remotely (e.g., minimum supported version, maintenance mode, store URLs). This does not identify you.

### 3.3 Firebase App Check

The App uses **Firebase App Check** to verify that the App is legitimate. It is used to prevent abuse and does not identify you.

### 3.4 In-App Purchases (Subscriptions)

Subscription and other purchase transactions are handled by **Apple App Store** or **Google Play**. Purchase and payment data are governed by each store’s policy and are **not sent to our servers**.

## 4. Personally Identifiable Information

The App **does not collect or store** personally identifiable information such as name, email, phone number, or account ID. Meeting titles and notes are stored only on your device and are not sent to our servers.

## 5. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

## 6. Data Retention and Deletion

- **Device data**  
  Deleted when you uninstall the App or reset your device. You can also delete individual meeting history and presets from within the App.
- **Analytics data**  
  Retention of anonymous data sent to Firebase Analytics follows Google’s policies.

## 7. Sharing with Third Parties

The App sends data off-device only to **Firebase (Analytics, Remote Config, App Check)** and to **Apple / Google** for in-app purchases. We **do not sell or share** meeting content or settings with advertisers or data brokers.

## 8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or store update notes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
